Melbourne Alumni

This year marks the tenth anniversary of Pitcher Partner’s very successful, Melbourne-born “Keeping In Touch” Alumni program.

Representing the ongoing link between past employees and the current firm, “Keeping In Touch” aims to:

  • Assist career development through technical updates and continued professional development training
  • Provide forums for past employees to establish and maintain contact with each other and the firm
  • Provide an environment to maintain friendships and socialise with our peers in a structured way which allows us the time to ‘keep in touch’

Pitcher Partners Alumni are offered professional development through our twice-yearly technical updates.  These updates present the most current topics of interest and are delivered by guest speakers, our professional staff and partners from the relevant specialist division.

A highlight of the Alumni social calendar is the “Keeping In Touch” end of year cocktail function, where Alumni are able to mix with Pitcher Partners staff in a purely social context.

The continued success of this annual event brought about the 2006 introduction of a “Keeping In Touch” London cocktail party for staff and Alumni now working in the UK.

Building on their Pitcher Partners experience and its heritage of success, an increasing number of our Alumni now hold senior positions throughout Melbourne and overseas.

Today, the Melbourne network comprises almost 400 past employees of the firm (and predecessor firms) and is lead by Partner, Mark Harrison.  Mark is a partner in the Business Advisory and Assurance division of Pitcher Partners.  Mark is supported by Barb Savage, the program’s coordinator who has been with the firm for more than 13 years and personally knows many of our Alumni.
