General overview

Yvette joined Pitcher Partners Sydney in 1997 and was admitted to the partnership in 2000. As a Partner in the Private Clients Group, Yvette provides taxation advice to large privately held corporations, high net worth individuals, small to medium sized businesses and investors.

Yvette is currently head of the Pitcher Partners National Private Client Committee and a member of the professional practices, property & construction and manufacturing service teams.

Her primary focus involves private family groups, from structuring to succession planning, in addition to family office management and professional partnerships.  Yvette is the chair of the Centennial Park and Moor Park Trust and chair of the Finance Committee.

Recent engagements include:
  •  Family office services to a large family business group including compliance services, superannuation, wills, estate planning and monthly outsourced accounting services (payroll, creditor payments, reporting budgets).
  • Succession planning advice for an Australian family business.
  • Establishment of Australian subsidiary company for an overseas parent company and providing ongoing outsourced accounting and compliance services.
  • Structuring advice for a private family group’s acquisition of properties, businesses and other assets in addition to devising an asset protection strategy.
  • Liasing with a bank on behalf of a client to ensure financing needs were met in further developing the client's trading business.  Yvette attending regular meetings with the bank and provided assistance with management accounting and cashflow.
  • Advising on structuring of a family group and transactions between entities and private family members.
